Throughout my body of work titled Wrapped Up In You I aim to document the intricacies and intimate moments of my relationship as a twenty year old. It is an exploration of two individuals attempting to navigate the complexities of a serious relationship while still grappling with their own personal growth. At twenty, one is caught in the liminal space between youth and adulthood. It is a time when we begin to shed our youthful innocence and take on the responsibilities and expectations of grown-up life. Through my work, I seek to capture the essence of this in-between stage, showcasing the uncertainties, vulnerabilities, and passionate intensity that define relationships at this age. The photographs are meant to evoke a sense of nostalgia, transporting the viewer back to a time when moments felt more tangible and organic. Through my lens, I seek to convey the consuming nature of an intense relationship at a young age. Love can be all-encompassing, overwhelming, and even transformative but also full of confusion and heartache. Wrapped Up In You is a testament to the raw authenticity and beauty of young love, capturing the unique emotions that define this pivotal stage of life.
